Join MedCivic Society
We welcome students, recent graduates, and community members who want to make a difference at the intersection of medicine and civic life.
As a MedCivic Society member you can participate in research projects, help organize public education events, contribute to our outreach programs, and connect with a network of like-minded peers and professionals.
Membership is open to anyone — no prior experience in medicine or technology required. We provide training, mentorship, and a collaborative environment to help you grow.

No experience needed. MedCivic is a learning community. We pair new members with experienced volunteers and provide structured onboarding to help you find the role that fits your skills and interests.

A one-hour conversation can change a student's trajectory. Our mentors report that the experience is as rewarding for them as it is for the students they guide.
MedCivic mentors come from across the spectrum — practicing physicians, medical researchers, technologists, public health professionals, lawyers, and policy advocates. If you have expertise to share, we have students eager to learn.
Mentorship can be as flexible as your schedule allows — from a single informational session to ongoing advisory relationships.
